Scavenging Words & Images….

this is such a fun game, the Trendsetting Treasury Teams Scavenger Hunt.

Anyone can play.

The prior week’s winner picks 15 words and you make a treasury, finding items with each of the 15 words + one item from the winner’s shop.  Most people work with picking 15 lovely images creating wonderful collages inspired by the words.

I think it’s really fun to create a story with the 15 words as well as picking the pictures.

Here’s the 15 words from this week:

drowsy
flowing
fragile
intimate
meadow
morbid
muse
mysterious
notion
sublime
texture
weird
widely
wild
wood

Here’s my story and treasury:

……using all the words….

The Dark Forest

Her MUSE was playing tricks on her again. She led her on a WEIRD and MYSTERIOUS journey through a MEADOW with tall grasses DROWSILY swaying, FLOWING in the breeze. The TEXTURE of the wind painting its image WIDELY across the open field.

Slide1

The muse led her into a dark WILD WOOD, so deep and dark it stirred within her MORBID thoughts of danger and death…..the space felt so powerful and immense, it made her feel quite FRAGILE…

Slide1

…….in the depth of its silence she had a startling NOTION. This wasn’t death, this was the depths of her creative vision. And from within this deep INTIMATELY SUBLIME place.. the muse spoke once more………………..

……………………and began to write her story…….
