his last words

Inspired by Jenessa owner of the shop “driftingby”, I created a treasury for her for the Etsy Treasury Challenge Non Team and wrote the below story snippet “his last words” using Jenessa’s wonderfully evocative found words:

perhaps
this is the only sometime for us
gazed
across
the starlit sky
walk
in the darkness

…can you find where all the words are located in the story snippet below?…

……………“his last words”……………………………………………………………………………………..

“perhaps”
he said
“this is the only sometime for us”

his last words 1

his words lingered in her mind long after he left
quietly closing the door behind him

last words blog 2 (2)

she wasn’t sure if he was shutting her out
she wasn’t sure if this was the final goodbye
she was too afraid to ask

his last words blog 3

his words continued to haunt her
as she
gazed
out the window
across
the chilly windswept fields
clinging to the last remnants of winter

his last words blog 4

she imagined how life would be without him
the nights would be colder
without the warmth of his body by her side
and
the starlit sky
would lose some of its luster
she would still
walk
in the darkness
but this time
she would walk
alone
