Ruth & Idgy

….this week the words came from the Tiffany from the Peppermint Creek Collective’s weekly Scavenger Hunt Game….

….here are Tiffany’s wonderful 15 chosen words:

Woman, Dome, Summer, French, Wet, Tree, Natural, Joy, Signage, Antique, Simple, Travel, Flower, Music, Delicate….

…and here’s the story snippet that I wrote, using each one of her 15 words…..

“Ruth & Idgy”

Ruth was French
and a woman of delicate beauty
she loved to wear flowers in her hair

and had a weakness for antiques
with one glance at the dome shaped signage of the local shop
she always had to stop

Idgy was pure American through and through
an easygoing everyday in his jeans type of guy
he loved to climb trees
even when they were wet with rain
from a sudden springtime shower

their idea for the summer
was simple and carefree
like their love for each other
natural, joyful & spontaneous
and filled with music
traveling on road trips
whenever the urge of wanderlust hit…
