I was very saddened to discover that Etsy has decided to end treasury lists in October 2016. Over the years I really loved creating “story snippets” from people’s chosen words from the Peppermint Creek Collective’s, and other Etsy teams, treasury list Scavenger Hunt Games.

I will really miss the art of treasury making when it is gone.

Here’s this week’s story snippet and treasury from the Peppermint Creek Collective’s Scavenger Hunt game; it was inspired by and written using Carolina’s lovely words: hip hop, street, dance, people, style, fashion, rap, graffiti, New York, Warhol, movie, love, music, art, peace

she wondered
would her presence

would the lively hip hop dance
of the street
still go on
would the people
in a moment of peace
to remember
her love
of the art of Warhol
of going to the movies
and her cutting edge sense of fashion
of her street smart style

would the rhythmic rap
belting out
the rush and hustle
the musical soul
of the New York grit grime and graffiti
and skip a single
heart beat

would the city
and remember

or would she
simply be
