About Me

I’m a writer and an artist. I started off at UCLA Extension in the Writer’s Program. I had some success with my screenwriting including winning some awards. I almost sold one of my original TV pilots to a British Producer before the financing fell through. ABC considered hiring me as a writer and I had industry interest in my feature specs.

Later when I was taking creative writing classes, I found a wonderful cure for “writer’s block”. Whenever I would get stuck, I would select a few words at random from the dictionary and use those words in a story.  It always did the trick.

When I joined a writer’s group, we continued the practice of selecting random words to have a bit of fun including them in our stories. Once I opened up my Etsy shop, “The Weaver Of Words” it was only natural for me to offer custom stories written with chosen words!

Right now I’m having an enormous amount of fun writing and selling “story snippets” using other people’s words.  As I like to say …”give me 15 words and I’ll tell you a tale”.

The Peppermint Creek Collective interviewed me about my writing process and my Etsy shop “The Weaver Of Words”. You can find the article at the below link:
